Which browsers are supported?

All of them. Although you'll get better results if you use Firefox Mozilla and Google Chrome.

Do I need any additional software?

No,  AFED is a web platform so there is no further software to download. However, if you want to save the data to your desktop, note that we currently have an excel plugin and the downloadable file type is CSV, therefore your Microsoft Office Excel installed on your computer should not be older than 2007 (2007 or updated version will work fine).

Can I have Demo of the AFED database?

Yes. Please email Ilze Gouws on i.gouws@africadata.com or call  +44 (0)207 324 0020  and ask for the AFED Marketing team. You can also complete the contact us form (please choose 'type of enquiry' as 'demo') to request a demonstration. We can show you the service via web-based application or we will talk you through the service over the telephone at your convenience.

How do I subscribe?

Click here to subscribe. Check the boxes to selected your preferred packages. In the case of Country Profile or Sector Focus, once you've checked the box you can choose the countries/sectors you would like to subscribe to.

Which payment methods do we accept?

We offer a wide range of solution:

  • You can use Visa or MasterCard and accept a wide range of additional cards.
  • If you subscribe online, you will receive a receipt by email from STRIPE. The payment has to be made in full before you can have access to any data.
  • If you prefer, we can also produce an invoice and email it to you at the earliest convenience.

Paying online with a credit card is easy and safe. We don't store any personal or billing details on our website. Our secure server encrypts all submitted information.

What currencies do we accept?

If subscribing online, through our website, we can only take US dollars ($). However, if you wish to use other currencies, please contact us and we would be more than happy to help.

What is our refund/return policy?

Due to the nature of the products we sell, we do not provide refunds for orders, or accept returns. Try to read all available information about a product and if you have any questions please fell free to contact us. A member of our team would be more than happy to revert back to you with more information, or refer your query as necessary.

I have forgotten my password. How do I reset it?

It's easy. To do so, go to the Login Page. Click on the link "Forgot your password?" just below the password field. If you are not able to change your password, then please contact us. It would be a pleasure to help.
